How affordable are stair lifts?

This is probably the most commonly asked question. Prices can vary greatly, generally depending on whether you have a curved or straight staircase. Stair lift prices can cost between £2000 and £9000 due to the different requirements of the user and the variations in the staircase itself. Curved stair lifts will always be more expensive as they are custom manufactured to the exact dimensions of your staircase.

How long does my warranty last?

We provide a 12-month warranty on installation and 36 months on parts subject to normal operating conditions.

What if something goes wrong with my stair lift?

Our excellent after care service and reliable network of engineers across the UK ensures that should anything go wrong; we will be there to resolve it as swiftly as possible.

What is the heaviest weight that a stair lift can accommodate?

We specialise in heavy duty stair lifts that have a capacity of up to 30 stone or 190kg.

Will I disturb my neighbours by using a stair lift within my home?

Our stair lifts are extremely quiet - your neighbours will barely notice you using it.

Is the stair lift suitable to go across several floors?

Absolutely. Our stair lifts are suitable for multiple floors.

How are the batteries of the stair lift charged?

Our stair lifts have a continuous charge system allowing constant charging. The socket needs to be plugged in to the mains to maintain a charge to the batteries.

How is the stair lift made?

The stair lift is designed and manufactured by a market-leading manufacturer in the United States, with its UK base situated in the North West. Every stair lift is handcrafted with care for exceptional performance, safety and durability.

Does the staircase remain accessible to others?

Yes, it does. The stair lift is installed as close as possible to the side of the steps, ensuring the centre of the steps remain accessible, and sufficiently wide, at all times.

I have a narrow staircase. Will a stair lift fit on it?

Our stair lifts fit any stair wider than 65cm. If you are in any doubt, don’t hesitate to contact us. We can almost always find a solution.

How long does it take to install a stair lift?

Stair lifts are fitted in a matter of hours, with a minimum of fuss, ensuring little disruption to you and your family’s routine.

How is the stairlift installed?

Every stairlift is installed with great care and attention. Each one is custom built for your home, ensuring a much neater finish compared with most other designs. We can work with every type of staircase, straight and curved, to ensure each one beautifully flows along the lines of your staircase. Stair lifts are fitted to steps, not the wall, which means there is no damage to your walls or decoration.

I am moving house. Can I take my stair lift with me?

Not normally but we can advise properly once we have assessed the staircase in your new home.
